[Next Gen] MyCareer/MyTeam/MyGM files missing or having error in-game

Question:

  • I am playing NBA 2K14 for PS4 or Xbox One and am not seeing my MyCareer/MyGM files!
  • I can see my files in NBA 2K14 but am getting an error.  I can't play my file to my expectations!
  • My file is stuck and unable to progress!
  • I am missing MyTeam Cards that I had yesterday!

Answer:

We have locally confirmed that this is a fix for the above issues of which players have occasionally reported

 

  1. Delete NBA 2K14 Application from your PS4/XB1
  2. Power down your PS4/XB1 completely.
  3. Disconnected your PS4/XB1 from power
  4. Plug your PS4/XB1 back into power
  5. Power up your PS4/XB1
  6. Re-install NBA 2K14
  7. Sign into your PSNid/GT
  8. Load NBA 2K14
  9. Watch the entire intro Video
  10. Update all patches for NBA 2K14

NOTE: To delete NBA 2K14 from your PS4 or XB1, please follow the below steps:

PS4: 

  1.  Navigate to [Settings]
  2.  Select [System Storage Management]
  3.  Choose [Applications]
  4.  Navigate to [NBA 2K14 or NBA 2K15] whichever you need
  5.  Press the Option button and select Delete

XB1: 

  1. To return to the Home screen, press the Xbox button on the controller, or say "Xbox, go home."
  2. Select My Games & Apps.
  3. Highlight the NBA 2K14 app, then press the Menu button.
  4. Select Uninstall.
  5. On the next screen, select Uninstall to confirm the deletion.


If you receive an error stating that you are unable to connect to the 2K Sports servers, please re-try the following

  1. Power down your PS4/XB1 completely.
  2. Disconnect your PS4/XB1 from power
  3. Plug your PS4/XB1 back into power
  4. Power up your PS4/XB1
  5. Sign into your PSNid
  6. Load NBA 2K14
