Here is a comprehensive list of all the previous notes for Battleborn's patches/micropatches. These are organized by date, with the most recent at the top. 

7/22/2016

New Content:

  • 5 new taunt customizations
  • 3 new Versus maps (Monuments, Outskirts, and Snowblind)

Characters:

  • The Wound debuff has been modified
    • Wound now reduces healing, health regeneration and lifesteal received by 60%
    • Wounded targets now have a unique third person visual effect to indicate that they will receive reduced healing
  • All characters now have diminishing returns on the push of their quick meleeattacks
    • Consecutive quick meleeattacks push enemies shorter distances. This effect resets after a short amount of time
  • All Bots now sprint more frequently

Alani

Skills, Augments, and Balance changes:

  • Increased Alani’s base damage by 20% (52 to 63 at level 1)
  • Increased Alani's sprint speed by 10%
  • Alani's level 7 Left Helix Augment, Pressure Washno longer increases Osmosis stack generation

Skills, Augments, and Balance changes:

  • Melee strikes that consume Heat reduce the cooldown of Sunspotby 1 second
    • Melee strikes that instantly deplete all Heatdue to Ambra's level 7 Right Helix Augment, Radiant Spear reduce the cooldown of Sunspots by an increased amount

Attikus

Skills, Augments, and Balance changes:

  • Increased Attikus' base health by 20% (2033 to 2439 at Level 1)
  • Hedronic Arcnow applies a 60% Wound debuff for 4 seconds
  • Pouncenow silences enemies for 1.5 seconds instead of knocking them back
  • Increased the damage of Pounceby 33% (75 to 141)
  • Decreased damage of Charge Hook by 18% (153 to 125 at level 1)
  • Changed Pounceto feel more responsive and controllable
  • Fully charged Hedronic Eruptionnow slows enemies instead of knocking them up
  • Reduced the directional variance of Hedronic Eruption

Benedict

Skills, Augments, and Balance changes:

  • Increased Benedict's base health by 20% (830 to 983 at Level 1)
  • Increased the damage of Rocket Launcherby 15% (184 to 211 at Level 1)
  • Benedict's level 7 Mutation, Multiloader now functions properly if it is selected while dead

  • Reduced the total fly time required for Benedict's “Rocket Jump Professional” challenge from 3 hours to 1 hour

Boldur

Skills, Augments, and Balance changes:

  • Increased the attack speed of Deande's Tessurim War Fansmelee attacks by 15%
  • Changed the transition between Tessurim War Fansmelee and ranged attacks to feel more responsive
  • Burst Dashno longer knocks enemies back
  • Increased damage of Blink Stormby 35% (63 damage per hit to 85 damage per hit at Level 5)
  • Deande's level 3 Mutation, Uppercut now applies a Wound debuff for 1.5 seconds instead of knocking enemies into the air
  • Deande can no longer gain permanent clones by using Holotwinimmediately after Blink Storm while Deande's level 10 Left Helix Augment, Doppelgangüp is active

  • Fixed an issue that prevented Ghalt's level 7 Right Helix Augment, Both Barrels Blazingfrom functioning
  • Ghalt no longer has a chance to become stuck when silenced during The Hook
  • Reduced the likelihood that The Hookwill pull enemies behind Ghalt

ISIC

Skills, Augments, and Balance changes:

  • Omega Strike now has a 40 second duration.
  • Reduced the duration of ISIC's level 4 Left Helix Augment, Hold it Right There! }:Ostun from 2 seconds to 1 second
  • ISIC's level 5 Mutation, Stopping Power ;)now applies a Wound debuff for 1 second instead of a slow
  • Increased the damage of Charged Cannon on Overcharged attacks from 175 to 177

Description changes:

  • Changed the description of Omega Striketo allow the Overcharged effect to be visible when viewed in the Helix menu
  • The description of ISIC's level 10 Left Helix Augment, Shield's Up!  :D augment now displays the correct Damage Blocking amount in the Command Menu

Kelvin

Skills, Augments, and Balance changes:

  • Reduced Kelvin's movement speed bonus while he is Sublimatedby 40%
  • Reduced the duration of Sublimate's stun from 2 seconds to 1 second
  • Fixed an issue that allowed Ice Wallto prevent minions from pathing in Meltdown or Incursion
  • Fixed an exploit that allowed Kelvin to gain unintended damage reduction
  • Kelvin no longer received conditional effects that activate on shield depletion by default

Description changes:

  • Changed the text of Permafrostto better reflect the skill's functionality

  • Increased Kleese’s base health by 88% (from 773 to 1,456 at Level 1)

  • Reduced the damage of Wrist Cannonafter selecting Kleese's level 3 Mutation, Quantum Precision by 30% (384 to 281 at Level 3)
  • Kleese's level 3 Right Helix Augment, Don't Tase Me Brono longer allows Shock Taser to damage stealthed enemies
  • Shock Tasercan now damage Ghalt's Scraptraps

Marquis

Skills, Augments, and Balance changes:

  • Reduced the bonus damage of Eins, Zwei, Diefrom 50% to 25%
  • Fixed an issue that allowed Marquis to damage a Sentry's health using its shield hit box
  • Marquis' level 4 Left Helix Augment, Time Killernow consistently damages enemies within Temporal Distortion regardless of terrain

Visual and Audio Effects:

  • Fixed a visual issue with Predatory Strikeowls when they are affected by certain third person FX
  • Bindlebaneattacks no longer trigger critical hit sound effects on Immune targets

Mellka

Skills, Augments, and Balance changes:

  • Reduced the duration of venomfrom 8 seconds to 4 seconds
  • Increased the damage of venom by 50% (12 to 18 at Level 1)
  • Spikenow applies a 60% Wound debuff for 4 seconds to enemies that are covered in venom

Challenges and Statistics:

  • Reduced the number of kills required for Mellka's “Spaceborne Malady” challenge from 500 to 100
  • Reduced the number of games required for Mellka's “Heeding the Call” challenge from 5 to 3
  • Mellka's “Best!” stat now properly increments after completing the Prologue

The Saboteur

  • Various changes were made to improve performance on The Saboteur
    • Reduced the number of dynamic lights in The Saboteur
    • Improved mesh culling at extreme distances in The Saboteur
    • Reduced the performance impact of loot containers on The Saboteur
    • Reduced the performance impact of all exploding shard barrels in The Saboteur
  • Fixed several issues that allowed players to skip objectives in The Saboteur
  • Fixed several issues that prevented certain skills from being useable when at certain areas
  • Thrall Shift Supervisor Varl now always leaves the Control Room

Hot Fixes:

This week we released the second update for Battleborn. This update contains fixes for various performance issues, but also includes some great quality of life improvements and features that you all have asked for. PVP maps and modes are getting lots of improvements and performance tweaks. Not only that, we added “Particle Detail Mode” in the Video Options menu. This mode is in direct response to community requests to have more control over the way visual FX are experienced in Battleborn. The full notes for the latest Battleborn update can be found on our Knowledge Base.

As for this week’s hot fixes, the star of the show is Alani. We’ve gotten lots of feedback from the community on Alani and her abilities. It’s important to us to use not only community feedback, but also the behind the scenes data when considering balance decisions. It’s also important that we spend an adequate amount of time monitoring that data to get a sense of where a given character is in relation to where they should be for proper balance. In the case of Alani, our recent adjustment to her health brought her survivability down to what our team felt was an acceptable level, however, her Kill-to-Assist ratio has continued to be an outlier for what we would like to see for a support class. As such, We are reducing some of her primary attack's effectiveness as well as some of the AOE burst damage associated with her Geyser skill in order to bring her closer to expectations. With all that in mind, here are this week’s hot fixes:

 

  • Reduced the damage of Alani's Torrent primary attack by 18% (64 to 52 at Level 1).
  • Reduced the damage of Alani's Riptide by 55% (75 to 42 at Level 1).
  • Reduced the damage of Alani's level 4 Mutation, Wave Shock by 33% (81 to 54 at Level 1).
  • Reduced the distance Alani's Torrent projectiles travel by 20%.
  • Reduced the character selection time in PVP from 120 seconds to 45 seconds.
  • Reduced the stacking sprint speed bonus of the Go-Go Juice Legendary gear from 5-7% per stack to 2-3% per stack.
  • Reduced the healing granted to allies from the Oath of the Sustained Legendary gear from 5-7% to 2-3%.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed the Leechsteel Brooch Legendary gear to grant life steal on non-Skill attacks.
  • Reduced the life steal granted by the Leechsteel Brooch Legendary gear from 10-14% to 4-6%.
  • Increased the damage required to trigger the cooldown reduction tertiary effect of the Chrono Key Legendary gear from 500 to 2000.
  • Increased the sprinting time requirement to create a small health pickup due to the Vidanium Root Tea Legendary gear's tertiary effect from 6 seconds to 10 seconds.
  • Reduced the shards generated per damage taken of the Plasmate Transducer Legendary gear from 25% to 3%.

One change is being evaluated due to potential localization issues:

  • Replaced the sprint speed bonus while being healed granted by the Mossire's Mukluks with a 4-6% bonus to movement speed while being healed.

Mode & Map Changes:

We made a few changes to Incursion to prevent teams from snowballing to victory after defeating the first sentry. Now both teams get equal opportunities of lane pushing power at select times during the match. In addition, we added some extra power to the Thralls so that they help expedite team pushes.

Incursion 

  • Empowered Minion Waves no longer spawn for a team after killing the enemy's first Sentry. They now spawn for both teams every fourth minion wave.

Incursion Thralls 

  • All Thralls, when captured, no longer target enemy players
  • All Thralls no longer flinch when hit in the legs by players or minions
  • All Thralls no longer get knocked off the map
  • Thrall Crushers
    • Now only attacks minions directly
    • No longer charges
    • New Skill: Has an area attack that destroys minions instantly and knocks up players (Usable once every 7 seconds)
  • Thrall Guards

  • Modified the sniper nests to prevent players from engaging the first sentry from across the map.

  • Fixed a rare issue with the central Thrall mercenaries not pushing.

Echelon:

Characters 

Ambra: 

Ambra’s Extinction Event provided unnecessary crowd control due to the large area of effect. We removed the slowing effect to allow for better counter-play options around her ultimate.

  • Ambra’s Extinction Event skill no longer slows enemies.
  • Fixed an issue that allowed Ambra’s Scorching Strikes to deal extra damage.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented stealthed targets from being revealed when Ambra’s level 6 Left Helix Augment, Agile Anomaly and level 2 Right Helix Augment, Solar Burst were active.

Boldur:

  • Fixed an issue with the description of Boldur’s Legendary gear.

El Dragon:

  • Fixed an issue that allowed players to move bosses using El Dragon’s level 8 Mutation, Unbelievable. 

Deande:

  • Added a short cooldown to Deande’s Drop Kick to fix unintended vertical maneuverability.

Galilea: 

Galilea’s Desecrate was never intended to constantly apply crowd control or debuffs on enemies throughout the duration. We changed the augmentations to only apply the effects at the cast of the skill. This change now requires Galilea players to use Desecrate more effectively and allow some counter-play if players find themselves falling into the Desecrate. In addition, we made some fixes to her melee attack so Galilea is now moving like all other melee when attacking.

  • Galilea’s level 1 Right Helix Augment, Calamitynow only wounds players when Desecrate is initially activated.
  • Galilea’s level 4 Mutation, Bleak Quiet now only silences players when Desecrateis initially activated.
  • Galilea’s level 8 Right Helix Augment, The Black Wind Howls now only increases her movement speed when Desecrateis initially activated.
  • Galilea can no longer attack while sprinting.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented Corruptionfrom damaging enemies affected by Galilea’s Desecrate after selecting her level 1 Right Helix Augment, Calamity.

Kleese:

  • Fixed an issue that allowed Kleese’s Energy Rifts to replenish Sentry shields in Incursion.
  • Changed Kleese’s HUD to use a jump meter instead of an ammo counter.

  • Fixed a "Player Initialization Failed" error when users first attempt to sign in.
