"Insufficient Free Space"/"Image Memory Size Limit Reached" Error Message

Players are receiving an error message stating that they have insufficient free space when downloading from Community Creations.

    This issue has now been fixed with Patch 10. A warning message should now properly appear when creating or downloading custom content past the maximum data cap. The data limit also should now show as 256 MB for custom images instead of 128 MB.

    The current download cap is 128 MB. If you’re receiving this message when attempting to download something new, you’ll need to delete other content to free up space.

    This issue has been addressed in multiple ways with Patch 8:

    • The specific space limit for Custom Image content is now visible for players, which is a limit of 256 MB.
    • The “All Data Size” number visible next to that limit may vary depending on a number of circumstances.
    • If above either of these limits, players will still need to delete content until they’re below it for proper functionality.
    • The all data ceiling may not show correctly until below a certain number.
    • Some corrupted data may have been caught and removed by the update.
