If your desktop brightness is lowered when you quit out of the game please try the steps below.
- Browse to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Mafia II
- Right click on Launcher.exe, select ‘Send to’ and then ‘Desktop (create shortcut)’.
- Right click on the new desktop shortcut, select ‘Properties’, ‘Compatibility’ and enable ‘Disable desktop composition’
