How can I start the games tutorial when running the Gold edition of the game?

Civilization IV Gold will automatically start as Warlords which does not have a tutorial.  To run the tutorial you will need to run standalone Civilization IV by doing the following:

  • Browse to C:\Program Files\2K Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization IV Gold
  • Launch the Civilization4.exe
  • Once at the main menu select Tutorial.
