There is currently an issue where Steam Cloud Storage may not work properly when logging in from another PC. Users that log in from a secondary location may find that their existing saves on the Cloud do not sync to the new machine.
A fix for this issue has been issued in the new Steam Beta Client.
If you're experiencing this issue, you may want to try enrolling in the Steam Beta and updating your client. To do that, please follow these steps:
- Click “Settings” from the Steam Menu, and then click “Change…”in the “Beta Participation” section of the accounts tab.
- From there, select “Steam Beta Update” from the drop-down box.
- Restart your Steam client once prompted.
Please note: as with many Betas, opting in to the Steam Beta comes with its own set of risks.
