A question we've repeatedly been asked is when will Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel become available to play. Regardless of region, customers with physical copies of the game will be able to play as soon as they return home from a retailer.
We've broken this down by platform and region. We're awaiting some specifics for certain territories and will update this post accordingly.
North and South America
PC:
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available to play and/or purchase on October 14, 2014 at 12:01 AM EST.
PS3:
- Digital PreOrder Customers will be able to PreLoad starting October 12, 2014 at 10:01 AM PST
- Digital PreOrder Customers will be able to play on October 13, 2014 at 9:01 PM PST.
Xbox 360:
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available for digital purchase on October 14, 2014 at 12:01 AM local time (12:01 AM PT for US/Canada).
- No digital pre-load or pre-order is available for this platform.
Asia
PC:
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is currently available for pre-load, and will be available to purchase on October 13, 2014 at 10 AM PST.
PS3:
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available to play and/or purchase on October 14, 2014.
- No digital pre-load or pre-order is available for this platform in this region.
Xbox 360:
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available for digital purchase purchase on October 14, 2014 at midnight local time in Asia.
- No digital pre-load or pre-order is available for this platform.
Europe, Africa, and Middle East
PC:
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is currently available for pre-load, and will be available to purchase on October 16, 2014 at 4PM PST.
Xbox 360:
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available for digital purchase on October 17, 2014 at 12:01 AM local time.
- No digital pre-load or pre-order is available for this platform
- Physical Customers will be able to play upon their return home from a retailer.
PS3:
- Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will be available for digital purchase on October 17, 2014 after the PSN Store update.
