So you've gone and bought Evolve on Xbox One, PC, and/or PlayStation 4. Well done. You obviously have exceptional taste and we should hang out some time.
Ah! But you have questions about how to access either DLC or later-game content! Good news: That's what we're here for.
This post is designed to help you figure out how to access all sorts of goodies in the game, and we'll continue to update it if/when new content is developed and released.
Check out the following instructions below:
Exterminator Skin Pack
- Once you've chosen the character you'd like to play as, select "Customize" at the bottom of the screen and scroll through the available skins. Select the one you'd like to use.
Instant Hunter Pack (Team B)
- If you have access to Team B, you'll be able to select these characters by scrolling to the right once you've selected the Hunter Class you wish to play as.
- NOTE: Unless you have unlocked these characters through pre-ordering a specific version of Evolve, you must unlock these characters via the Mastery system in the game.
Third Characters Set (Team C + Wraith)
- As with the Instant Hunter Pack, you can access these characters by swiping to the right once you've selected which Hunter Class or Monster to play as.
- NOTE: Unless you have unlocked these characters through pre-ordering a specific version of Evolve, you must unlock these characters via the Mastery system in the game.
Magma Monster Skins
- Once you've selected your Monster, click on "Customize" at the bottom of the screen and scroll through the available skins, then choose "[Monster] Magma Skin".
Monster Expansion Pack
- The Monster Expansion Pack will provide access to the fourth monster, Behemoth, when it's released for Evolve. When Behemoth is released, you'll be able to scroll to the right and select that Monster.
- It also contains immediate access to the Goliath Savage Skin. The skin can be used by choosing to play as Goliath, then scrolling to the right and choosing "Goliath Savage Skin".
NOTE FOR XBOX ONE PLAYERS: When DLC content is shared from player A (the owner of the Xbox which has Evolve and all the DLC on it) with player B, it is possible that Player A won't be able to see their DLC content when they log in again. The content is still associated with Player A's account. In order to resolve this, Player A will have to delete all downloaded DLC content from Player B’s account.
