[NBA 2K24] NEW AND RETIRED BADGES

UPDATED:

NBA 2K24 has brought some new badges onto the court and allowed some others to finish up their career.

The badge system will be separated into tiers based on your individual MyPlayer height and position.

  • For example, the tier C badges available for a 6'0 PG, a 6'7 PF, and a 7'3 C will all be different.

The most powerful and easy to use badges will be in tier S while the least valued or favorable badges will be available in tier C.

Unlike last year, the badges will be automatically unlocked when you have reached the requirement.

  • The badge will be unlocked at Bronze.
  • You will need to trigger the badge in game a certain amount of times in order to increase the progress to Silver and beyond.
  • You can track your progress by accessing the Badges tab.
  • Badge progression can also decrease if you don't trigger or activate the badge in multiple games.
  • To prevent losing progress there are "Floor Setters" that will prevent the badge from dropping down past the specific level you equipped it at - even if it goes unused!
  • Floor Setters are permanent, you can't move them around once they are placed - use them carefully.

Below, we have a list of all the new or changed badges, as well as the ones that have been retired:
