Below are some known issues in Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. We will modify this article as these may change with updates to the game.
We have broken these issues down into categories based on the platform.
Xbox One:
- The Day 1 Patch for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! is approximately 13 GB.
- Crash when resuming from suspension
- We are aware of an issue where the game may crash when resuming from a suspension during a 4-player split-screen game while using guest accounts. The development team is aware of the issue and are investigating possible resolutions. If you have any questions about this, please submit a support ticket at http://support.gearboxsoftware.com.
- Unable to access SHiFT code menu
- Our engineers are aware of an issue where players may not be able to access the SHiFT code menu when their privacy settings on their profile are set to “Blocked”. We are investigating fixes to possibly be included in a future update. In the meantime, you can access the SHiFT code menu by using a privacy setting other than “Blocked”. - Muted users becoming unmuted
- We are aware of an issue where users whom the players have muted may become unmuted when accessing the Home Menu and then returning to gameplay in an online session. Our team is aware of the issue and are investigating possible resolutions to be included in a future update. - Cannot hear other players in an online game
- We are aware of an issue where some players intermittently may not be able to hear voice chat while in an online game. We are currently investigating possible resolutions. If you have any questions about this, please submit a support ticket at http://support.gearboxsoftware.com.
PlayStation 4:
- Users may be unable to use the "Invite friends" prompt after suspending the title on the main menu. This can be fixed by changing their network options to offline and then back to online.
- Unable to use “Invite Friends” prompt
- We’re aware of an issue where users may be unable to use the “Invite Friends” prompt after suspending the title on the main menu. The team is currently investigating possible resolutions. In the meantime, you can fix this by changing your network options to ‘offline’, and then back to ‘online’. - Progression blocker in the mission “Plan B” (Borderlands 2)
- We are aware of an issue where the player may encounter a progression blocker when a client player buys all of Crazy Earl’s upgrades in another game session before reaching the mission “Plan B” in Sanctuary. Our engineers are currently investigating possible resolutions to be included in a future update. - Crash in 4-player split-screen
- We are aware of a rare issue where the game may crash after the first combat with the Bullymongs in Windshear Wastes while in 4-player split-screen. Our engineers are aware of this issue and are investigating possible resolutions to be included in a future update. In the meantime, you may avoid this issue by starting split-screen from the following checkpoint. - Crash when joining host (Borderlands 2)
- We’re aware of an issue where the game may crash for a client when attempting to join a game where the host is in the map “The Mines of Avarice”. Our engineers are currently investigating possible resolutions to be included in a future update. General:
- The Grinder becomes unusable after leaving an item in the grinder tray, traveling to another map, and then returning to Concodria
- Crash when attempting to join a game
- We’re aware of an issue where the game may crash when a user repeatedly attempts to join a game via matchmaking while having an unstable internet connection. Our engineers are currently investigating possible resolutions to be included in a future update.
