A question we're regularly asked by mobile players is whether their Android phone/tablet is compatible with one of our games. Unfortunately, there are so many different types of Android devices on the market (and more launching all the time) that maintaining a list of supported devices isn't really feasible.
However, there is a quick and easy way to see if your Android device compatible, thanks to the Google Play storefront. For this example, we'll use XCOM: Enemy Within for an example of how to use this feature.
With XCOM: Enemy Within, the easiest way to discern this is to go to the game's page on the Google Play store.
Please make sure you're signed into Google Play, otherwise the service won't be able to tell you whether you own a compatible device.
Just below the price tag, you'll see a notification stating which of your devices is compatible with the game.
If your device isn't compatible, you'll instead see this below the store price:
Even if you try to go ahead and purchase the game at this point, Google Play shouldn't let you purchase the title because you won't have any compatible devices to install the app on:
If you device isn't compatible as of right now, there's a possibility that may change in the future. We're always looking to extend our games' compatibility as new tablets and phones enter the market.
