If you own a retail copy of Evolve on PC, you can still play that version on Steam following the Evolve: Stage 2 launch.
This version of the game is known as Legacy Evolve, and you’ll have automatic access to it via Evolve: Stage 2’s beta branch.
Here’s how you can play Legacy Evolve:
- Right-click Evolve in Steam and select “Properties”
- Go to the "Betas" tab
- In the dropdown, select "legacyevolve - The Original Evolve Product"
- Click "Close"
- Wait for the game to download the differences
- Enjoy Legacy Evolve
