Earning and equipping the perfect Fitting for your player is one of the fun challenges of TopSpin 2K25! But when you're just starting out it takes a bit to learn how they work, so we created a handy guide to help you.
What is a Fitting?
A Fitting is a list of attribute increases. For example: "+5 FH, 3 Serve", or "+10 Speed, +8 Volley". Each Fitting has a Tier (Tier1, Tier2, Tier3. Tier3 are the best Fittings, of course) so you know how strong it is.
How do I get Fittings?
You start the game with 0 Fittings, and you can unlock one Fitting at the end of each match.
Fittings can’t be purchased for VC and aren't part of the Premium Centre Court Pass, they must be earned!
Fittings are acquired in the following ways:
- A single random Fitting drops at the end of each match played with your created player (minimum 7 points played, excluding any points played in the Top Spin Academy):
- One fitting from Tier1 drops if your player level is between 10 and 19
- One fitting from Tier2 or Tier1 drops if your player level is between 20 and 29
- One fitting from Tier3 or Tier2 or Tier1 drops if your player is level 30 (that's the cap!)
What if I have more than one Player? Do they share Fittings?
Fittings are attached to that created player, not to you as a user. This means when creating a new player, they start with 0 Fittings.
Each player has 3 Fitting slots: FittingSlot1, FittingSlot2, FittingSlot3
How do I use my Fittings?
A Fitting is associated with a specific Fitting slot. For example, if FittingX is a Slot3 Fitting, it can only be equipped in Slot3, not in Slot1 or Slot2. The reverse is true, too, a Slot1 Fitting can't be used in a Slot3, for example.
So all you have to do is edit your MyPLAYER, at the bottom will be the Fittings option, and there you can put each one in its correct slot.
Keep in mind that Fittings cost VC to equip, so choose carefully!
Fittings in Tier3 have skill sets 1, 2, or 3 - if you equip a complete skill set you can select one skill out of that set
- Each set will have two skills to choose from.
What if I don't like a certain Fitting?
Fittings can't be deleted. When a Fitting has been acquired, it remains present in the Fittings inventory forever. But you don't need to equip them, so let them gather dust!
