If you've started playing Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition and would like to create a SHiFT account in-game, please follow the steps below.
1) In the main menu of the game, select "Extras."
2) Select "SHiFT" from the "Extras" menu.
3) Choose "Sign Up."
4) Enter your birth date then hit "Confirm Age" SHiFT requires users to be at least 18 years old.
5) Review the Online Policy, Privacy Policy and Terms of Service then hit "Accept."
6) Enter your e-mail address and desired SHiFT password (at least 8 characters, must contain uppercase, lowercase, and one number or special character) then choose "Sign Up."
7) Account created! An e-mail will be sent to the address you entered for confirmation.
