What versions can I pre-order?
The Quarry Standard Edition will be available in both physical and digital formats for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and digitally on Windows PC via Steam. It includes the full game. For PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, The Quarry will be available in both physical and digital formats and will be optimized for next-generation consoles.
The Quarry Deluxe Edition will be available in digital format only for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC via Steam. It includes the full game*, '80s-themed character outfits (available post-launch**), instant access to the Death Rewind system, Gorefest Movie Mode option and Horror History Visual Filter Pack.
*Purchasing on PlayStation or Xbox provides both the current-gen and next-gen versions of the game in the Deluxe Edition. No cross progression of save data. Both versions of the game are entitled to the same Xbox Network account or PlayStation Network account they were purchased on.

What more can you tell me about the Deluxe Edition?
In addition to the full game, the Deluxe Edition includes:
- '80s Throwback character outfits. Send the camp counselors' looks back in time! This retro pack includes new ‘80s-inspired cosmetic character outfits for The Quarry’s playable characters. Note: The ‘80s Throwback Character Outfits will be automatically delivered in-game on or by July 8, 2022.
- Instant access to Death Rewind system. Get instant access to Death Rewind, a retry mechanic that normally unlocks after your first completion of The Quarry. Start the story with three opportunities to reverse a playable character's death, giving you a chance to alter fate and save them in the process. But with only three retries per playthrough, you'll have to decide when someone's life is truly worth saving, and the undoing of one horrible end may lead to another. Choose wisely.
- Gorefest option in Movie Mode. Press play, sit back, and indulge in the most gruesome, gory, splatter-filled version of The Quarry. For fans of grindhouse grotesqueries: an abundance of death, dismemberment, and buckets of blood await in this brutal option for Movie Mode.
- Horror History Visual Filter Pack. Tailor the aesthetic of The Quarry to your liking by choosing from three cinematic visual filters, each replicating a different era and style of iconic horror filmmaking! Choose from an 8mm-style film grain (Indie Horror), a retro VHS aesthetic ('80s Horror), or the classic black-and-white cinematic filter (Classic Horror).
- Both gens for console. The Deluxe Edition of The Quarry includes both previous and next-gen versions of the game on that console platform, entitled to the same Xbox network account or PlayStation Network account.
Can I upgrade the Standard Edition to the Deluxe Edition later?

If I upgrade with the Deluxe Bonus Content Pack, do I get a next-gen upgrade too?
No. Players looking to upgrade their current-gen experience to next-gen on Xbox can purchase a separate The Quarry Cross-Gen Bundle Upgrade. Both games are entitled to the same Xbox network account. For PlayStation you will purchase the next-gen version at a discount in the digital store as long as you are on the account that has the current-gen version.
Does The Quarry feature cross-progression between console generations? What about cross-platform saves?
The Quarry does not feature any cross-generation or cross-platform saves.
Can I play my PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S version on my PlayStation 4 or Xbox One?
While the next-generation versions of The Quarry can only be played on next-generation consoles, the Deluxe Edition grants access to both current-gen and next-gen versions of the game, entitled to the same Xbox network account or PlayStation Network account.
Additionally, those who purchase the PlayStation 4 edition or the Xbox One versions can use the console's backwards compatibility to play these on their PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S!
If I own The Quarry on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, is there an upgrade to receive the game on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S?
Digital owners on PlayStation and Xbox can purchase the Cross-Gen Bundle Upgrade to provide access to the next-gen version of The Quarry, entitled to the same Xbox network or PlayStation Network account.
Physical owners on PlayStation 4 have the option to purchase the PS5 Digital Upgrade if they own a PlayStation 5 with a disc drive. The PlayStation 4 The Quarry disc must be inserted into the PlayStation 5 whenever playing the next-gen digital version of the game.
Is The Quarry optimized for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S?
Yes! There are next-gen optimizations in the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game.
I bought DLC, where can I find the Horror History Visual Pack and the costume packs in my game?
If you go to Settings and from there select the Display menu you will see your Horror History Visual Pack whether you are in an active game or not, but your costume packs will only show up if you access this from the Main Menu.
Can I play with my friends?
The Quarry now has two multiplayer options. In Wolf Pack mode you and up to seven of your friends will be able to feel the fright together as long as you are on the same platform. But don't forget that you also have couch co-op, so when you are all together you still have a time for teamwork - or betrayal!
