[NBA 2K23] CROSS GEN CONSOLE FAQ

With NBA 2K23 being available for purchase across multiple platforms, we understand you might have some questions. As such, we've put together a quick guide featuring common issues. If you can't find the info you want below, please feel free to drop us a line on Twitter or via a support ticket. 

NBA 2K23 Cross Gen Bundle

If you have purchased the digital Cross Gen Bundle of NBA 2K23 for either Playstation or Xbox you will receive keys for: 

  • NBA 2K23 for Playstation 4 and NBA 2K23 for PlayStation 5
  • NBA 2K23 for Xbox One and NBA 2K23 for Xbox Series X|S

Keep in mind these are digital only! There is no physical copy with the Cross Gen Bundle.

 

NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition or Championship Edition

Good news! If you're looking for the cross gen compatibility, but don't want to miss the extras of the Michael Jordan Edition or even the Championship Edition, when you order one of these special editions for Playstation or Xbox you will receive keys for: 

  • NBA 2K23 for Playstation 4 and NBA 2K23 for PlayStation 5
  • NBA 2K23 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

This version comes in digital orders or in physical copies from your favorite retailer.

  • For a physical copy, did you purchase the Michael Jordan Edition or Championship Edition for Xbox One or Playstation 4?
    • Your box will include a disc for the version you bought, a code for your pre-order (if applicable), and your bonus content. Your bonus content will include a code for Xbox Series X|S or Playstation 5.
  • Or did you purchase the the Michael Jordan Edition or Championship Edition for Xbox Series X|S or Playstation 5?
    • Your box will include a disc for the version you bought, a code for your pre-order (if applicable), and your bonus content. Your bonus content will include a code for Xbox One or Playstation 4.

NOTE: The 100,000 VC for the Michael Jordan Edition or Championship Edition is only awarded once - since your wallet is shared between the Playstation 4 and 5 or the Xbox One and X|S you can access it from either platform.

 

NBA 2K23 Standard Edition

If you only need a single gen console for your NBA 2K23 needs, the Standard Edition may be right for you! Each version, digital or physical, will only come with a single key for the platform you choose at the time or purchase. Simple, right?
