“NO GAMEPAD BINDING” Appears When Using a Controller on PC
When using a controller while playing the game on PC, the text “NO GAMEPAD BINDING” replaces all visible button prompts in the game menu and on the screen during gameplay.
We've received reports that his occurs with 8BitDo and Stadia game controllers.
Workaround: Use an alternate brand or different type of controller in the meantime.

This should now be resolved in a recent update. Thank you for your patience!
This post has been edited to include all controllers on PC, though most of the reports that we have seen are from third-party controllers or ones that no longer have active support.
This is planned to be addressed in a future update.
