[Consoles] How To Delete Saved Game Files

If you need to delete your local saved games on your console, please follow the directions below:

Xbox One:

  1. On the home screen, select "My Games & Apps".
  2. On the left menu, choose "Games".
  3. Select the game you want to edit and press the menu button on your controller. 
  4. Once you've done this, choose "Manage game".
  5. Choose which profile's saved data you would like to edit.
  6. Select where you would like to delete the saved data from and follow the on-screen prompts. 

Xbox Series X/S:

  1. On the home screen, select "My Games & Apps".
  2. On the left menu, choose "Games".
  3. Select the game you want to edit and press the menu button on your controller. 
  4. Once you've done this, choose "Manage game and add-ons".
  5. Select "Saved data"
  6. Select where you would like to delete the saved data from and follow the on-screen prompts. 

PlayStation 4:

  1. In the XrossMedia Bar, go to Settings. 
  2. Choose "Application Saved Data Management".
  3. Select "Saved Data in System Storage."
  4. Choose "Delete".
  5. Select the saved data for the game you would like to delete and follow the on-screen prompts.

PlayStation 5:

  1. On the Dashboard go to Settings in the top right. 
  2. Select "Storage".
  3. Select "Console Storage"
  4. Select "Saved Data".
  5. Select PS5 or PS4 Games
  6. Select either the game or press the icon next to the saves (displayed as three horizontal lines with a pencil next to it) to select specific saves.
  7. Select the "Delete" Option in the lower right side of the screen
  8. Confirm you wish to delete the save.
